The Universities Association for Lifelong Learning (UALL) is the professional association for the lifelong learning community within higher education.

CIHE is a high level partnership between leading people from a wide range of businesses, universities and colleges. The Council leads in developing an agreed agenda on the learning issues at higher education level that affect our international competitiveness, social cohesion and individual development.

City & Guilds work with a variety of HEIs to recognise and certificate the skills based elements of vocationally related programmes. The accreditation is through Senior Awards which are offered as part of City & Guilds royal charter qualifications. City & Guilds work with over 30 HEIs in the UK; primarily accrediting vocational skills for students on sandwich degrees, but also recognising skills in corporate and in house staff development programmes.

HESA is the central source for the collection and dissemination of statistics about publicly funded UK higher education.

Association for University Research and Industry Links. Is the professional association representing all practitioners involved in knowledge creation, development and exchange in the UK and Ireland.

The Centre aims to promote good practice in Recording Achievement and Personal Development planning across a variety of sectors.

Established for fifteen years, the CPD Certification Service is an independent body operating across all market sectors and in support of all professional institutions. It role is to assess and accredit learning activities for CPD Certification on the provision that they contain educational value. Individuals who then undertake these activities can then use the certifcation as a formal contribution to their CPD portfolio's for their relevant professional body, institute or organisation.
