In response to the overwhelming demand The Training Gateway is delighted to announce two dates for our new course "Social Media Training - LinkedIn and Twitter double bill”.Run by Liz Cable of Reach Further this training offers a unique opportunity to learn the tricks of the trade, using practical examples and exercises.

Learn how to get started, build your network and how to make an impact. Have you a Social Networking action plan: learn what to do and how often. You will also learn what the social web can do for your business? - Marketing, Accounting, PR and see how Twitter can save time and money. As a delegate you will gain the technical know-how to use LinkedIn and Twitter and you will learn how to harness and maximise their potential.

Session One: LinkedIn

So you’re on LinkedIn, but are you using it to build your business, save you time, advertise your products, establish your expertise, make the most of your contacts and network with new potential clients? LinkedIn is now generating valuable revenue for us, and it costs nothing to use it the way we do.

This session will take you from amateur dabbler to professional networker. You will understand which activities give you the most exposure, which will raise your ranking on LinkedIn, which aren’t worth doing, and how to use LinkedIn’s permission-based marketing tools to drip-feed your marketing message to your audience every day of the week - free of charge.

Session two: Don’t Twitter - just tweet!

Once we’ve got you started on Twitter, with a profile and routine, we’ll look at how to maximise Twitter’s potential for growing your business or brand. There are hundreds of Twitter applications out there, which ones are right for you?

Using tried and tested tactics Liz will show you how to build up a following of relevant Twitter users, and how to find the ones you should follow yourself.
