The Training Gateway Exhibition Service
As part of its remit to raise the profile of UK universities as providers of corporate training, The Training Gateway promotes its services to the business community at a number of national and international HR and Training Events.

For a fraction of the cost of taking a full stand at these events, universities can promote their CPD portfolio by exhibiting with The Training Gateway. This provides a low cost and effective way to promote your CPD, consultancy or corporate training services.

Each exhibiting institution has a single A4 flyer detailing their services or other promotional information included in The Training Gateway information pack. After the event, all exhibitors will receive a full list of the contacts made at the exhibition.

Universities are also encouraged to attend the exhibition and spend time on The Training Gateway stand to meet potential clients and customers. The offer is limited to 10 universities per event.

How to get the best results from exhibiting with The Training Gateway
It is important to ensure that the information you send is relevant to the audience who will attend the event. Use the “Further Information” links for each of the events below to focus your marketing material on the customers most likely to attend the events.

There maybe events where it is more appropriate to focus on specific type of course provision, or a selected sector or delivery method. Bear in mind a case study demonstrating how you catered for varied business needs may better demonstrate your institution to clients than a list of courses.

Attend the exhibitions if possible – a personal relationship is always better than an e-mail. Please note, anyone attending The Training Gateway stand must promote the services of The Training Gateway as well as their own individual institution.

Any cards collected are strictly the property of The Training Gateway and the contacts that you make will be sent out to the other exhibiting universities. However, if you have met them, then it is likely that you will be in a better position to pursue any potential business opportunities.

Network member Westminster Business School has recently developed a wide range of commercial business activity after taking advantage of the exhibition service. The work obtained has resulted in a Return on Investment figure of over 1500%.
