News - Bill Rammell praises The Training Gateway at the MEA Conference, London
Released on 23/07/2008.
The Training Gateway, a new business engagement network, led by the University of York, has been given the backing of Bill Rammell, the Minister of State in the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills, who cited the newly-launched company as an organisation “which should more effectively enable the UK and Middle East and North African countries to engage in mutually productive partnerships”.
Amanda Selvaratnam, CEO of The Training Gateway, attended the event with an aim to create new contacts within the Middle East and to increase the tender opportunities from the region that The Training Gateway will pass on to its member universities.
During the MEA Conference, held in early July with the London Business School, Bill Rammel commended The Training Gateway, saying:
“The Training Gateway is an exciting new business engagement network, led by the University of York, which provides direct access at national and international level for businesses and business support organisations seeking to procure corporate and professional training from across the range of UK universities.”
