The theme of this workshop was “Employer Engagement: Calculating the Employer Contribution”

Overview
Jenny Bubb and Charlie Woodcock from the University of Chester delivered the key note presentation with a lively overview of the experiences from Chester covering both the issues and the ways in which have incorporated employer contribution in kind in order to meet the new HEFCE funding requirements. Bradley Coales from London Southbank University gave an overview of the costing methodology used in his institution. Stella McKnight have an overview and costing process involved in the University of Winchester's partnership with Logica, an IT Systems company.

Lots of questions were raised from other members who are addressing similar issues within their institutions leading to a lively discussion.
