Brazilian university looking to collaborate with UK institution in Dentistry - Brazil Deadline: 15 Jun 2010  Added:02 Jun 2010 The third largest university in Brazil is working at the European level on an Alpha III project for the School of Dentistry and wants to involve some UK universities with good programmes/research in this area.

Bid for 3 New Engineering Doctorate Training Centres - UK Deadline: 24 Jun 2010  Added:31 May 2010 The awarding authority wishes to provide a stimulus package to help establish up to three new Industrial Doctorate Centres providing Engineering Doctorate training and addressing fundamental engineering challenges within the area of manufacturing engineering. The awarding authority is looking to encourage and support research organisations that wish to expand the provision of Engineering Doctorate studentships from within their own resources. The awarding authority will provide partial funding of up to £1.25 million per centre to be optimised through significant research organisation and industry investment/commitment to the Engineering Doctorate training model - applicants will be expected to demonstrate this commitment by submitting a clearly defined and well justified business case as part of the proposal.

Awarding Body for Certificate and Diploma in Policing - UK Deadline: 30 Jun 2010  Added:29 May 2010 To comply with the Home Office decision to implement a national minimum qualification for student officers, the Forces require an awarding body that is recognised by the Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency (QCDA) as an Awarding Body for the following: Diploma in Policing and Certificate in Policing. Additional schemes may be required during the period of this contract.

Partnership Consultancy for English Bilingual Education in Primary Level - Thailand Deadline: 7 Jun 2010  Added:29 May 2010 As part of an attempt to improve the quality of English Bilingual Education in Thailand, the Ministry of Education is seeking expressions of interest in a partnership consultancy in this area. This is a five year development and with this being the initial stage. Tentative periods for the consultant to come to Thailand are: - 5 - 10 days between late July and end of August 2010 - 5 - 7 days in late January 2011 - There will also be some desk work involved but the number of days required for this will be confirmed after the initial consultancy.

Accreditation of range of Courses sought for Navy - Singapore Deadline: 21 May 2010  Added:11 May 2010 An organisation that provides a wide range of training for a Naval organisation in Singapore is looking for a UK University to accredit their training courses. Courses conducted by the institute include navigation, electronic warfare, gunnery, seamanship, leadership and managament and other naval skills courses. The awarding authority realises that one university may not be able to cover all the courses so they are happy to work with more than one institution.
