The organisation is looking to develop a Governance Development Framework. This framework is for new and existing board members and, where appropriate, clerks/company secretaries in Further Education and Sixth Form Colleges. The framework includes:
- Scoping and development of the Governance Development Framework
- Production of materials and resources for each module
- Delivery of a pilot programme reaching 180 board members by March 2019 (further delivery targets will be agreed for subsequent years)
- Promotion of GDF and appropriate recruitment to the programme
