Community Information Champion Training - South West

A council in the South West are looking for an independent agency to support the development and implementation of a Community Information Champion (CIC) by providing training, which will enable community members to be CICs and cover the whole county. 

Training will include: Difference between information giving and advice; Active listening; Clear communication & avoiding jargon; Confidentiality; Qualities & behaviours of a good Information Champion.

The contract begins at the end of January 2020 and runs for two years. In addition, the agency will be expected to develop or make available an ongoing network of support for CICs following the two years.
