The British Council is looking for a consultant to assist the team revising their global set of teaching standards. These are used throughout the teacher recruitment process, for classroom observations, within structured performance management, for learning and development and as a measure of the quality of teaching in the classroom. The standards include teacher skills, behaviours, specialist skills and professional practices.
It is expected that this work could be completed within a short period of time - we anticipate 4 days - and it will need to be completed during the month of March, 2020.
It is expected that the work will be completed from the consultant's home base and travel to overseas operations will not be necessary.
